TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
Let’s Shoot!

I love photography – taking photos while traveling is one of my favorite hobbies. I got into photography in 2011 when I purchased my first DSLR camera – a Nikon D5100. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked, purchasing different lenses and accessories and eventually changing up my entire system to Sony.
Today, I shoot with two mirrorless full frame cameras – a Sony A7III and a Sony A7IV, with a collection of about 6 lenses.
Since I’ve been shooting for so long, you’d think I’d be really good at this but the truth is, I’m not. I’m straight up mediocre. I have tens of thousands of photos I’ve taken during my travels, so I have a huge backlog, and a lot of experience, but in all honesty, I’m not that great. And I’m okay with that!
So I’m probably not the best resource to come to when it comes to travel photography tips. But what I will say is that I have fun with it and that’s what counts. I’m just a regular person that bought a camera and throughout the years, I’ve picked up some knowledge that, as a schmuck like yourself, might find useful.
With that said, I will mention that I do sell my photos online on various sites (so you may have seen some of these floating around out there, but I am the OG!) I have been published in countless travel guides, websites, other travel blogs. I’ve been in National Geographic, Forbes, Lonely Planet, DK Eyewitness, Time Magazine, MSN — just to name a few! I’ve even had photos on billboards!
